To cover the whole field, why do they not write pædopathy (the pathology of children) and pædiatria or condense the words into pædopathiatria. Better for them to follow the leading of the gynecologists, and write simply pædology. Perhaps pædopathy would correspond better to the German expression (Kinder Krankheiten). But our American “regulars” dislike the very word “pathy.”
